In December, Xiaomi unveiled MIUI 13 alongside the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro, its latest flagship smartphones. While the company unveiled a release plan in China, it remained quiet for other MIUI branches, including its global one. Unsurprisingly, the Xiaomi 12 and Mi 11 series will be the first devices to receive MIUI 13.
Now, the company has taken to its MIUI global Twitter channel to confirm that 'the time has come' for MIUI 13, presumably referring to its imminent global rollout. If it was not already clear, the teaser shows MIUI 12.5 in MIUI 13's reflection, Xiaomi's current smartphone OS globally.
Also, Xiaomi has teased that 'something wonderful is about to happen' concerning MIUI 13, albeit without specifying what it means by that. Incidentally, Xiaomi has published numerous 'DEV' builds based on MIUI 13, which you can download from Xiaomi's servers via Xiaomi Firmware Updater. All builds, denoted by 'DEV' suffixes, sit within MIUI's Public Beta branch. Currently, Xiaomi has published 'DEV' builds for the following devices, listed below.
